- The oven does not turn on
- Oven not working
- Oven not functioning
Applies to
- built-in ovens
- double ovens
- cookers
- compact ovens
Resolution
First, check whether only one or more types of heating are not working.
1. Only one type of heating does not work:
Make sure the temperature is set if your oven didn't suggest a temperature. Select the desired temperature and function.
2. Several types of heating do not work:
- The oven display is blank / dark: check whether the fuse or RCD has tripped. If this is the case, refer to the article: Oven blows / trips fuses for further troubleshooting
- Check if the time is set if your appliance has a digital clock. A flashing oven clock (showing 00:00 or 12:00) indicates that the clock was not set after the appliance's installation, or that there was a power cut. To set the clock, refer to the articles:
- Check whether the Duration and End function has been set. Refer to the appliance user manual
- The demo mode is activated (depending on the model) and this is shown on the display. The oven displays "Demo" or "d". Refer to the articles:
- The Child Lock is activated (depending on the model). Refer to the articles:
