FX9-1-ANIM FX9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Although this seemed very good for the first few weeks, I’ve since been frustrated with the number of times I’ve had to pull off the head and push a long barbecue skewer through to unclog debris from the tube. I have arthritis in my right hand and pulling the head off is very tough, sometimes impossible for me. It clogs too easily and there is no tool supplied de-clog. Disappointed in the purchase.

Good build quality and brilliant on carpets and floors, the swivel head is excellent as is the auto function and the running lights are surprisingly useful. It easily goes under low furniture and around table legs as the main brush is quite compact. The AEG FX9 Animal is quiet, efficient and rivals any corded upright vacuum. It is not as lightweight as some reviews make it look and using the hand tools is awkward. The whole unit needs to be lifted which makes two handed tasks like dog hair covered cushions tricky. Also it comes with several tools but doesn't have a decent crevice tool or a small stiff brush. You can only buy these separately as part of a kit that includes two tools you will already have. For an expensive machine these should be included as standard. Overall though it is convenient and effective for every day cleaning, sleek and easily manoeuverable I am very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic suction, pet hair doesn't stand a chance, great flexibility with all the useful tools, ample battery life to clean most if not all the house in one go, with an easy system for emptying when full.

I was blown away with how powerful this vacuum was, it picked up more dirt than my mains corded vacuum. The slide off turbo nozzle means you can clean furniture with the pet hair turbo nozzle., and it even has a pull out hose built in. It beats the other leaning brand hands down for a similar price, with 60mins runtime and simple charging. I love it.
