QX6-ANIM QX6 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

I had an older AEG cordless vacuum cleaner at home. But the new one is even better. Many details have been adjusted. Don't want to exchange it anymore.

I have tested the product for several weeks. Ideal addition to a normal vacuum cleaner or when you have a house that is not too big. It is ideal for specific applications.

1) It is excellent at vacuuming hair where a normal vacuum cleaner has no chance. Think of dog hair, other hair on a carpet and fluff. You do not believe what dirt is in the device after vacuuming, while you already think in advance that everything is okay with the "right" vacuum cleaner.

2) The device is immediately at hand, which we experience as a great advantage to clean something. This way you often grab it a bit faster.

Regret not having started a stick vacuum earlier. This vacuum cleaner makes the household - and the result - a lot more pleasant. You grab it more often so that you build up less dust between turns. So you are on the normal position safe with 1 battery charge (130m2, 2 floors). The turbo mode is perfect for vacuuming carpets, kitchen crumbs and cat litter. Everything that doesn't work can be easily vacuumed up with the petty thief. I am very impressed with the suction power, even on normal setting the bin fills with hair dust and sand.

The rotating brushes work great on my PVC floor, doormats and carpets. On the latter, the result is better compared to a canister vacuum cleaner. There is an automatic cleaning function on the brushes, I am not sure if this adds anything. My long hair does twist all the way into it, so I still have to remove this by hand.
I have to empty the dirt collector after two full vacuums. You may find it too small, but that is the case with every upright vacuum, otherwise it can never be so slim. Judging from the content, I am very pleased with what this vacuum cleaner sucks up. Emptying is fairly easy and you can easily rinse it afterwards.

I am a big fan of the built-in petty thief. During the suction you disconnect it and it continues to suck.
Because this petty thief is a bit lower on the handle, it cannot get under every piece of furniture, but I have not yet encountered that as a problem. I then simply grab the extension of the petty thief that is integrated into the handle. I use the soft brush for the skirting boards and delicate surfaces. For fabric furniture then again the piece of furniture. In short, this vacuum cleaner has everything you (I ..) need. The delicate brush and furniture attachment are not on the upright vacuum cleaner itself, which I think is a shame.

Finally, two more specs that I didn't know I needed but really appreciate:
+ the parking position: The upright vacuum cleaner can stand on its own. Ideal because that way you don't have to worry about it slipping and damaging your wall or furniture during its fall.
+ the lighting: You see a lot more dirt than without light, so your result is really many times better!

We have had the stick vacuum at home for a few weeks now and are mainly very enthusiastic about the ease with which you can pick up and use the stick vacuum. It comes with a stand in which it charges, so you can grab it with 1 hand and start vacuuming. Thanks to the rotating brush, it easily picks up all the dirt from the floor. Because the handy attachments are incorporated in the vacuum cleaner itself, you have them at hand when you want to use them, for example for the skirting boards.
We are also very enthusiastic about the attachment for the sofa. We have a dog that sheds a lot so there is always hair on the couch. With this attachment, the sofa is clean in no time and you do not damage the fabric of the sofa.

Handy that there is a light on the vacuum cleaner so that you can see exactly where you have been vacuuming.

I find a disadvantage that the dust reservoir is on the small side, so you often have to empty it. I also think that the battery does not last very long. I can just vacuum the ground floor with it (average house).
We use this stick vacuum cleaner for that, it is very suitable for that. We have a sled vacuum cleaner for the larger cleaning work.
