I don't not like this vacuum but I probably wouldn't recommend it. It works well on hard floors and low pile carpets but the problems start when on high pile and it's down to the design. The weight all sits towards the bottom of the upright section so when you're pushing it along hard floors or low pile carpet, it glides smoothly and the slightly weird weighting and the slightly too small and too smooth handle aren't too much of an issue. On my thick high pile bedroom carpets, it becomes so hard to push and you end up doing a weird kind of lunging action with your whole body to force it along the floor because the weight is all low down. It's not comfortable.
Aside from that issue, there are two power settings - decent and barely anything so basically there's only one power setting. The removable duster buster is good though but because that little unit fits into the main unit and acts as the dust collector for the whole thing, it doesn't collect much before it needs emptying. The headlights on the hoover don't really help so basically just drain the power for not much added benefit. The battery life is average although the docking stand is good and is a plug and play option rather than having to attach it to a wall.
The feature I really liked is that it's self-standing so you don't have to awkwardly lean it on things when moving bits of furniture out the way as with other cordless vacuums. Overall though, it's not enough to make it a product I would recommend.
