Our old cooker eventually gave up the ghost and after a careful bit of research we opted for this model to replace it as it seemed to match the criteria for quality, usefulness and our budget. We are certainly not disappointed with it as although it took some use to getting used to (due to the difference in operation) it certainly lives up to expectations in the speed the hob heats and the general control of heat whist using it. One small criticism maybe that they should have used rings to denote the heating portion as opposed to lines (it would be easier to have the pan central on the induction element) but otherwise it certainly boils very quickly and equally heat is controlled as if it were a gas flame. Both ovens are great for baking and the grill operation is also OK (in line with the fact that it is waist height like all other grills on cookers of this type and maybe as we get older stooping to check our food might get a bit awkward). It cooked our Christmas dinner perfectly (of course I helped) but there was more than enough space for the masses we put on the table for the most important meal of the year. The functions work well for different foods and both have great lights to keep on top of the cooking process. Both ovens cleaned well afterwards with virtually nothing whatsoever on the self cleaning areas, although usual elbow grease was needed for the racks and oven bases. Overall really pleased AEG!!
Consistent results on both levels in your oven
With a fan and a heating element working efficiently together, the temperature within the oven is completely consistent on both levels.
