Not as good as my previous machine
This machine replaces it’s predecessor the PE4542=M. The new milk jug only delivers a tasteless cappuccino foam whereas my previous model had a versatile spout where I could make a creamy flat white. Also, the display is in blue and not red as previously. It is very faint to see straight on even on it’s full contrast. All in all I’m very disappointed with this machine.

If you’ve got the money to spare, and you don’t want to use up anymore valuable worktop space, buy one of these. Makes a decent cup with a good amount of crema. The latte function froths the milk well enough for some basic latte art. I make the espresso and steamed milk separately because the machine will pour the milk first then coffee in automatic mode. Most settings can be adjusted to taste. Finally, the build quality seems up to standard although I’ve only been using it two months so can’t comment long term. I’ve dropped down to four stars because the machine is a lot more money than an equivalent stand alone machine.
