I got myself this hob, looks nice on paper, but in reality, it's sluggish.
I'm not sure about other reviewers, this is my 4th induction hob, all of previous ones capable to boil 0.5L of water in about 95 seconds, however, this hob did it in full 3 minutes!
I called AEG service to find out whether I have wrong installation or set-up, they stopped by fairly quickly (thumbs up!), but they stated that everything is just like as it is suppose to be - installation is correct (2xLN - 400V), and slow boiling? That's because new hobs need to save energy compared to previous generation.
Being not satisfied with this explanation, and AEG service failing (for 2 weeks) me to provide an answer to simple question: how long should it take to boil 0.5L (or 1L) of cold water on this hob - I got me another one (same model) and had it tested - same result! So it really seems like whole series is sluggish.
If this is your first induction hob, this may be a good choice and performance would be satisfactory, however, if you're used to speedy induction, avoid this model, and probably also all 2019/2020 AEG/Electrolux models, as they seem to share same slow induction unit.
