Heat activated catalytic cleaning

The catalytic lining absorbs the grease from cooking and is activated by regular heating to 220°C. The grease residue is oxidised leaving the catalytic surface clean.

Great looking and performing oven

We are happy with this oven it is performing very well. Being a double oven it is sometimes a little confusing when the light in the lower oven does not come on.
Otherwise all is fine.

GREAT CHOICE

I could not be more pleased with my AEG hob and ovens. The uni is a huge step-change from my old cooker. Now that I have read the manual and understood how it is operated, I have been producing great dishes ever since.

Rubbish Instructions

I have had this oven for three months, but still have not managed to use the grill. The instructions are great for saying how well the appliance cooks but does not tell you how to get the grill working. The instructions in general are very sparse. They do not tell you how to get the grill working or how to have both ovens working together.

Superb oven(s)

I spent some time looking for a new built-under oven and having chosen this one (and used it for several months) I could not be more delighted.

Surprisingly it is one of a very few on the market with two equal-sized ovens and (I recall) the only one where both ovens were fan-assisted.

The only thing that puzzled me for a while was turning one oven off without turning both off! It's actually VERY EASY !

Select the oven you want to switch off with the oven selector and then touch the "Options" button (the rounded white square second from the left). Bingo!

Will be adding an AEG gas hob as a soon as the kitchen is finished!
