EXCELLENT HYGIENE PROTECTION

TIPS FOR HOUSEHOLD HYGIENE

WASH DISHES AND LAUNDRY HOT

When cleaning laundry and dishes, the temperature and the use of a suitable cleaning agent play a decisive role.

Dining and kitchen utensils should always be cleaned with warm water and detergent or - even better - in the dishwasher. With the economical dishwashers from AEG, you significantly reduce your water requirements compared to hand washing.

Dishcloths and cleaning cloths, towels and washcloths as well as bed and underwear should, if possible, be washed in the washing machine at at least 60 ° C. Please note the manufacturer's washing instructions and use a suitable detergent.

HYGIENIC PROTECTION AGAINST VIRUSES

With the current coronavirus (Covid-19) regular and thorough hand washing is therefore an important hygiene measure. The hands should be washed with lukewarm water and soap for at least 20-30 seconds.

Cleaning your dishes or laundry in a dishwasher, washing machine or washer-dryer from AEG also makes an important contribution to hygiene. During the program, the parts to be cleaned come into contact with the cleaning agent over a longer period of time. This removes a large number of harmful organisms.

TIPS FOR CLEANING DISHES

Normal hygiene programs are sufficient, however if you want to be on the safe side, choose a program with 70 ° C or the Extra Hygiene function.

AEG dishwashers maintain a temperature of 70 ° C for 10 minutes during rinsing. Many bacteria and viruses do not survive this temperature.

CARE TIPS FOR YOUR DISHWASHER

To maintain hygiene and the appliance, it is important to regularly clean the sieve in the bottom of the dishwasher.

The use of an additional cleaning product is also useful from time to time for thorough and hygienic cleaning of your dishwasher. Deposits inside the wash cabinet are effectively removed and bacteria and viruses are killed by the higher temperature during cleaning.

You can also optimally maintain your household appliance by regularly using our dishwasher detergents. Through their use, the hoses in the appliance are also degreased and descaled - for a long and hygienic device life.

TIPS FOR LAUNDRY CARE

Basically, it is important that bacteria is washed away. A wash program at 40 ° C is sufficient. Killing bacteria is not absolutely necessary in healthy people, although it is of course helpful.

Nevertheless, it is recommended to wash once or twice a month with the Cottons 60 ° C program. With washing machines and washer-dryers from AEG, you achieve particularly hygienic cleaning performance. Not only is your laundry thoroughly cleaned, but also deposits in the machine are removed.

ANTI-ALLERGY PROGRAM

If members of your household are sick or suffer from allergies, then the use of the anti-allergy program is recommended. This special program on some AEG washing machines removes microorganisms through a washing cycle in which the temperature is kept above 60 ° C for a few minutes. This safely removes germs, bacteria, microorganisms and particles. An additional rinse cycle ensures that detergent residues and pollen (allergens) are removed.

TIPS TO CARE FOR YOUR WASHING MACHINE AND WASHER DRYER

To ensure the hygiene of your machine, it is important to clean the detergent drawer and the rubber around the door regularly.

After washing, the detergent drawer and the door of the washing machine or washer dryer should be left open in order to dry the inside of the device. This prevents the formation of odors and mold in the device.

A washing program at 60 ° C should be selected approximately once or twice a month. This cleans the machine because it removes deposits in the machine, the so-called bio-film. It is important to use a heavy-duty powder detergent with bleach. This also has an antibacterial effect and should therefore be used regularly. Liquid detergents are not sufficient here.

Maintain your household applince by using detergents for your machines regularly. For long and hygienic device lide you will also need to degrease and descale the hoses of the device.
