Integrated extractor hoods: a practical solution for your kitchen
In the kitchen, every centimetre counts. Built-in extractor hoods are a space-saving option that can help create a cleaner, more open look, especially in smaller kitchens. Designed to fit neatly inside your kitchen cabinets, they help reduce water vapour, grease and cooking odours while keeping the appliance discreetly integrated into your kitchen design.
The main difference compared with other cooker hoods is that the extraction system is built into the kitchen cabinet, helping the hood stay almost hidden from view. It is a modern, functional option for reducing cooking odours and steam without adding a prominent visual element to your kitchen.
Telescopic or retractable cooker hood
A retractable cooker hood is designed to be visible only when in use. Selected models with electronic controls activate when pulled out and can be pushed back when no longer needed.
Built-in cooker hood
The most discreet cooker hood style in our range. A built-in cooker hood fits neatly into the upper kitchen cabinet, helping it blend into your kitchen design.
Traditional cooker hood
A traditional cooker hood is designed to complement your kitchen décor. It illuminates the area beneath and helps remove steam, grease and cooking odours.
Recirculation or extraction mode?
In recirculation mode, the cooker hood draws in air through a grease filter to help capture grease, while an activated carbon filter helps reduce odours. The filtered air is then recirculated back into the room. In extraction mode, air passes through the grease filter before being vented outside through suitable ducting.
Various widths
Integrated cooker hoods are available in different widths, commonly including 54cm, 56cm, 60cm, 80cm and 120cm, depending on the model.
Performance and features
Selected AEG integrated cooker hoods offer practical features such as multiple power levels, extraction or recirculation options, LED lighting and dishwasher-safe or washable grease filters, depending on the model. Check the individual product energy label and specifications for performance, energy rating and installation details.
