Early days
Took us a while to work out what programme is best for each load. “Cotton eco” dries our towels beautifully. Haven’t yet found a programme that dries a mixed load of clothes as well as our old drier used to. The Synthetics programme dries most, but there’s often one or two items we have to finish drying on hangers. Very quiet. Good fluff collection, and easy to empty. We have plumbed ours in - a doddle - so no need to empty the water drawer. We were used to shorter time programmes on our old drier, but if the blurb is true, then this machine may take longer but it’s apparently more economical/using less electricity than a traditional drier. We hope so! Never had a heat pump drier before. Clothes come out much less creased than our old drier, and very soft. It’s a bonus that we don’t have to use fabric conditioner any more. Overall, pleased with our purchase and looking forward to many years of expert drying from this machine.
AEG
Hello Magda,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your new AEG Tumble Dryer. You mention shrinkage while drying, this is due to the AbsoluteCare technology within the dryer. Your dryer dries at a lower temperature which helps with this as well as having 3d Scan technology which detects moisture within the fibres as well as surface level moisture to give great drying results. This allows the dryer to then adjust the time of the programme as well as the drum rotation to optimise results. You can set the anti-crease option on the dryer which starts when the drying programme ends. When the programme finishes, the drum will intermittently rotate in both directions to ensure the movement of the clothes in the drum which, in turn, helps to reduce creasing and giving you extra time to empty the drum.
Thank you again for your review.
