Frequently asked questions about washer dryers
Washer–dryer combos typically don’t have a manual lint trap. Lint is rinsed away during the rinse cycle or flushed through the drain. Some units collect lint in their drain pump filter, which should be checked periodically.
A washer–dryer combo is a single unit that first washes clothes and then dries them using either vented or ventless drying. Also possible to do a wash onlu or a dry only mode. Ventless models condense moisture and pump it out via the drain. This space-saving appliance is ideal where separate units can’t fit.
Water from the drying cycle in a washer–dryer flows through the same drain line used for washing. Condensed moisture is pumped away via the drain hose into plumbing rather than vented outside.
