• What size of dishwasher will fit in my kitchen?

  A 60 cm-wide dishwasher will fit most kitchens, while a 45 cm-wide model suits smaller spaces. Standard height is 82 cm, but we also offer 87 cm dishwashers for even easier loading of big plates and tall glasses. All of our integrated and semi-integrated models, including XXL models, fit beneath a standard 90 cm kitchen counter. Always measure the width, height and depth of your cabinet opening, and check door clearance before buying.

• Which dishwasher is best for my household and capacity needs?

  Dishwasher capacity is measured in place settings: One place setting equals a full set of dishes and cutlery for one person. As a guide, a capacity of 9–10 place settings suits a household of 1 or 2 people, capacity of 12–14 place settings suits 3–4 people, and larger households benefit from a capacity of 14 or more place settings. Adjustable racks, foldable tines, and flexible cutlery options help you fit everything into fewer loads.

• How energy- and water-efficient are dishwashers compared to washing by hand?

  Using a dishwasher instead of washing by hand is a significant step towards a more sustainable lifestyle. On Eco cycle, our most water-efficient dishwashers use just 8.4 litres of water to clean 12 place settings, compared to 103 litres to wash them by hand*. They also use up to 75% less energy than washing the same number of dishes by hand****.

• How much does it cost to run a dishwasher, and which programmes are most efficient?

  A typical dishwasher cycle costs just a few cents, depending on energy prices and programme choice. Eco programmes are the cheapest to run, while quick and intensive cycles use more energy and water. Over time, an efficient dishwasher can significantly reduce household running costs compared to frequent hand washing.

• How quiet is a dishwasher, and what noise level should I choose?

  Noise is measured in decibels (dB). The lower the number, the quieter the machine. Around 44–46 dB is considered quiet, while less than 42 dB is ideal for open-plan kitchens. Our most silent models can run at a whisper-quiet 37 dB – so quiet that you might not even hear it at all when it’s running.
