Roast Pork

A pork loin roast can be a showstopping meal, perfect for Sundays with family or as the main course in a dinner party. With AEG, cooking roast pork has never been easier, simply follow our recipe to create this classic dish.

Ingredients

•Approximately 2kg pork loin bone in rack

•Olive oil

•Salt and pepper

•1 lemon

Method

Preparation time: 5 mins

Cooking time: approx. 80 -110 mins, extra 30 minutes resting time

Serves 6-8

1. Drizzle the pork rind with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and lemon zest

2. Using the Assisted Cooking function, select Meat and Fish – Meat – Pork – Roast – Food Sensor – Medium and insert the probe

3. Or place the Food Sensor into the Pork and plug it into the oven. Set the Food Sensor to between 68°C to 86°C depending on taste and colour of crackling

Chef Tip: When using the Food Sensor probe, you can be flexible with the size of joint because it will consistently cook to the perfect temperature every time
